During a recent gathering with the Khorezm voters, Presidential candidate Shavkat Mirziyoyev unveiled a promising plan for infrastructure development; over the next seven years, a substantial amount of funding will be allocated to improve the region's roads, electricity, and water systems, Daryo correspondent reports.
The Tashkent-Khiva Jalaliddin Manguberdi high-speed train will also be inaugurated in 2025, with a $365mn investment earmarked to electrify the Bukhara-Urgench-Khiva railway. Moreover, Khorezm is set to receive $200mn to develop its tourism, road, electricity, and water infrastructure.
