The Tashkent authorities intend to launch a system based on Big Data that will predict the city's development for many years to come, media reports.
Reportedly, the system resembles the one in Isaac Asimov's "The Academy" book detailing the life and work of a renowned scientist who possessed the ability to forecast events thousands of years into the future. This individual shared his findings with the emperor of their time, and the two have since collaborated to prevent the predicted dire consequences.
The "Main Radiant" system will consider various factors, such as demography and construction, using artificial intelligence and machine learning to track all relationships.
The goal is to understand the impact of various events on the city's development and what the consequences of those events might be.
