A man who had sex with a 15-year-old girl in Tashkent was sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment, press service of Tashkent City court reports.
The incident reportedly happened in the fall of 2022. According to the verdict of the Chilonzor District Court on April 13, 2023, 20-year-old Sh.Kh. was found guilty of committing the criminal acts stipulated in part 1 of Article 128 of the Criminal Code (sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 16) with an underage girl - D.Sh, born in 2007, and was sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment.
In addition, the following limitations are imposed on him:
- not to go to cafes, bars, restaurants, and other places of entertainment;
- not to participate in public and other events;
- not to change the place of residence and not to leave the territory of the city of Tashkent without the consent of the body supervising the prisoners;
- victim D.Sh. not to see and talk to him in any way;
- additional prohibitions (restrictions) are imposed, such as not consuming alcoholic beverages.
Based on the protest submitted by the Chilonzor district prosecutor's office, this criminal case was considered at the appellate instance of the Tashkent city court, and the judgment of the Chilonzor district court on criminal cases dated April 13, 2023, was changed.
According to the ruling of the trial panel of the Tashkent city court on criminal cases dated May 18, 2023, additional prohibitions (restrictions) such as not changing the place of residence, work, and study, and not using the Internet without permission of the supervisory body were imposed.
According to the report, in accordance with the requirements of Article 13 of the Criminal Code (the validity of the law in time), Sh.Kh. was sentenced under the sanction of Article 128 of the Criminal Code, which was in use until April 11, 2023.
