Bishkek and Dushanbe will not launch drones near the borders of both countries, the press service of the authorized representative of the President of Kyrgyzstan in Batken reports.
This matter was discussed by the head of the Batken region of the Kyrgyz Republic Abdikarim Alimbaev and his Tajik counterpart Rajabboy Ahmadzoda.
The parties agreed to prevent provocative actions near the border zone, use water resources for their intended purpose and maintain a calm situation on the border of both countries.
In March 2022, a preliminary agreement to ban the flight of drones in this area was already considered by the Kyrgyz-Tajik Commission.
