President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev turned 70 on May 17. However, the press service of the head of state revealed that no festivities are expected, as it is the President's principled position.
When asked about the Head of State's plans to celebrate his birthday, the message from the President's Press Service stated that no measures are planned in this regard.
Reportedly, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will spend May 17 in the usual working mode on the first day of his state visit to China. There will be no birthday events in Kazakhstan or within the program of the visit to China.
