A citizen of Uzbekistan, who had been on the international wanted list for seven years, was detained in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, OTYRAR reports.
Employees of the Department for combating extremism of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Turkestan region identified a citizen of Uzbekistan, who has been on the international wanted list for a drug-related crime since 2016.
The suspect was placed in the temporary detention center of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Saryagash region. His extradition to Uzbekistan is expected soon.
