In April, the leading oil pipeline operator in Kazakhstan, KazTransOil, increased its oil transportation to Germany by 2.5 times compared to March, delivering up to 50,000 tons. According to the media, the export passes through the Russian Federation on the Druzhba pipeline.
Over the first four months of this year, Kazakhstan's oil deliveries to Germany reached 90,000 tons. Furthermore, KazTransOil has expressed its readiness to transport almost 1.2mn tons of domestic oil to Germany annually as long as there are appropriate applications from German companies.
'The oil of Kazakhstan is mainly processed at the refinery in Schwedt, which previously belonged to Rosneft but is now owned by Germany due to the sanctions confrontation', the media says.
