Uzbekistan is set to manufacture and launch a CubeSat satellite for scientific and educational purposes, as reported by the "Uzspace Agency" press service.
The decision was made during an international conference held in Tashkent on April 26-27, which was attended by representatives of over 250 space corporations, agencies, and committees from more than 30 countries. Uzbekcosmos signed agreements for several joint projects with countries including Turkey, the USA, Kazakhstan, and the UAE, with a focus on training new personnel for the industry.
One of the agreements made during the conference was to organize an educational program for young people at the "Space Camp Turkey" camp in Izmir, Turkey.
