Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Germany on May 2-3 paying special attention to the implementation of promising projects and programs aimed at expanding innovative-technological partnerships with leading German companies.
Falk Porsche, executive director of the German-Uzbekistan business council, expressed his views on cooperation in the field of business between the two countries.
According to the German business guru, combining the competitive advantages of both countries creates great opportunities for business development such as the first fiberglass factory in Central Asia. The steady development of Uzbekistan’s economy paves the way to attract foreign investors.
"The upcoming visit of the head of Uzbekistan to Germany for the second time will further expand the economic relations between our countries. It is also important to discuss the issues of deepening political dialogue, expanding investment and financial cooperation, activating cultural, humanitarian, scientific-educational relations, and tourist exchange.
As the executive director of the German-Uzbekistan Business Council, I would like to emphasize once again that German companies are very interested in investing in Uzbekistan. And our structure serves as an important connecting bridge between countries," Falk Porsche noted.
