As of 15:00 today, the Central Election Commission (CEC) has released the figures related to the participation of Uzbeks in the referendum. Some 73.17% of the total voters already cast their votes in the current referendum in Uzbekistan.
According to the data, there are 754,354 voters in Karakalpakstan, while those who voted are 76.56% of the total number of voters. There are 1 702 902 voters in the Andijon region, and those who voted make up 78.46% of the total number of voters.
In the Bukhara region, polls illustrated about 69.80% of all voters, and this number indicates that 759,632 people voted in the region. Some 759,632 voters in Jizzakh made up 72.71%, more precisely 571,108 people participated in the referendum until 15:00 today. About 69.25% of the voters in Navoi, or about 621, 679 ballots cast, some 1 189 975 voters in Namangan, and 73.70% of Samarkand citizens, or some 2 081 436 people cast ballots.
Moreover, around 78.83% in Syrdarya, 69.56% in Surkhandarya, 71.36% in Tashkent region, 77.53% in Fergana, 72.08% in Khorezm, 70.97% in Kashkadarya, and in Tashkent city, which has 1 780 000 voters, about 68.49% of the total participants took part in the referendum.
