The crew of a Russian boat that went missing in the Red Sea after leaving the Saudi city of Jizan has been located, according to Nadezhda Rasina, the captain's wife, "TASS" reports.
The yachtsmen said they were ambushed by armed men while in the Yemeni national seas, leading to many gunshot wounds. They made it to safety in Eritrean waters. The team is now safe after an investigation by the Eritrean police. The "30 Minutes" tourist boat, with three Russians and one Egyptian on board, set out towards Djibouti on April 17th. After losing contact with the crew, the ship's owner issued an SOS signal, indicating that the yacht had sunk two days later.
