Uzbekistan's delegation, chaired by Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov, on April 26-27, visited Xi'an in China to participate in the 4th China-Central Asia Foreign Ministers' Meeting and hold discussions with China's government officials and business circles.
The parties discussed new opportunities for the region's countries to interact with China in various fields, counting politics, diplomacy, trade, transport, green energy, culture, and art.

Particular attention was drawn to the upcoming Central Asia - China Summit in May and aspects related to ensuring regional stability and security.
The Foreign Minister also met with a member of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, Foreign Minister Qin Gang, to discuss progress in implementing agreements and further strengthening the Uzbek-Chinese comprehensive strategic partnership.
Discussions on prospects for Uzbek-Chinese interregional cooperation were held with the Secretary of the Party Committee of the Chinese Communist Party of Shaanxi Province, Zhao Yide.
The delegation also met with the heads of leading Chinese companies to discuss implementing joint investment projects in Uzbekistan.

In Xi'an, Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister had productive discussions with the heads of the renowned Chinese companies BYD and LONGi on the possibility of collaborating on joint investment projects in the Central Asian country, which could bring immense benefits to both nations. Furthermore, Bakhtiyor Saidov, on his Twitter account, announced that he invited LONGi to visit Uzbekistan to explore the country's potential in transition to a green economy.
Furthermore, the delegations of the Central Asian countries were given a comprehensive overview of the International China-European Center China Railway Express in Xi'an.
