At the fourth conference of Afghanistan's bordering nations' ministers which was held in Samarkand on April 13 under the leadership of Uzbekistan, the urgency of providing humanitarian aid to Afghans and building a structure of collaborative efforts with the goal of reconstructing the country's national economy was highlighted.
Additionally, during the meeting, the need of bolstering the efforts of neighboring nations in the fight against international terrorism, drug manufacturing, and smuggling was emphasized as well.
The conference was attended by the heads of foreign policy agencies from Uzbekistan, Iran, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and China.
