The Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan plans to purchase ten solar stations for low-income families. The corresponding announcement is posted on the public procurement portal, 24.kg reports.
It is reported that families in the Zhaiyl and Chui districts will receive five stations each. $113,632 from the cabinet reserve fund is allocated for the purchase. Power plants must be installed no later than mid-summer 2023.
The solar stations are purchased as part of the Nur Kubat pilot project. With successful implementation, it will be distributed throughout the republic. Today, the allowance «үй-бүлөгө көмөк» ("family support") receives 106,700 families.
