Uzbekistan will sign an agreement with Thailand on cooperation against human trafficking and illegal migration.
According to the information, the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Bangkok organized an online meeting with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Royal Thai Police, as well as the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security.
In order to strengthen cooperation between the countries, and speed up the draft of the Uzbekistan-Thailand intergovernmental agreement "On cooperation in the fight against human trafficking and illegal migration", the participants agreed to develop memorandums of understanding.
Additionally, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan will travel to Thailand to study the experience of the South-East Asian country which receives tens of millions of foreign tourists.
