Various legal developments involving former US President Donald Trump have been reported by several news articles. "Daryo" analyzed all available information and compiled a summary of it.

A Manhattan judge has ruled that a defamation lawsuit against Trump by former "Apprentice" contestant Summer Zervos can proceed, despite Trump's argument that he is immune from such lawsuits while in office or that the case should be dismissed on First Amendment grounds.

Meanwhile, the Manhattan district attorney's office has obtained millions of pages of financial records from Trump's accounting firm, Mazars USA, as part of its criminal investigation into Trump and his business dealings.

The New York attorney general's office is also investigating the Trump Organization's finances and has expanded its probe to include possible criminal activity. The US Supreme Court rejected Trump's bid to keep his tax returns secret and allowed a New York prosecutor to obtain them as part of a separate investigation.

Additionally, the House Oversight Committee has requested documents from the Trump Organization related to its plans to build a hotel in Washington, DC, during Trump's presidency, amid concerns about potential conflicts of interest.

Finally, a civil rights group has filed a lawsuit alleging that Trump and his associates conspired to incite the January 6th Capitol riot, which resulted in five deaths and numerous injuries, seeking to hold Trump accountable for his role in the events leading up to the insurrection.

Trump was pleaded not guilty for all 34 felonies he was accused of. However, he is facing charges in connection with his alleged role in paying hush money to former adult film actress Stormy Daniels prior to the 2016 US presidential election. And this was only the first trial. Now prosecutors have 35 days to find a new evidence of his guilt.

Back at his hometown, Florida, Donald Trump said “every single pundit and legal analyst said there is no case”. And he is also pressing on the opinion that the judges are biased against him.
