Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced the conditions for resuming dialogue with the US in an interview with "TASS".
According to Lavrov, in order to restore dialogue with Russia, the US should return to the civilized principles of interstate relations, but there are no such signs so far.
"They should return to the civilized principles of conducting interstate relations, including those enshrined in the Strategic Missile Weapons Treaty (a bilateral agreement between Russia and the United States on the mutual reduction of strategic nuclear weapons arsenals). "For now, we do not see that the United States is ready to return to the original starting point, which is stated in international legal documents, first of all, in the UN Charter," the diplomat said.
Lavrov added that it was necessary to respect the sovereign equality of states in the UN Charter.
"Their actions directly contradict these principles. The US has declared a hybrid war against Russia, and it is comprehensive," said the diplomat, and hoped that someday "dialogue, not confrontation, will win."
