"KazTransOil" has started the delivery of 25,000 tons of Russian oil to Uzbekistan through the territory of Kazakhstan, the company reports.
Petroleum transportation is set to be carried out according to a delivery schedule approved by the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan.
In 2023, some 250,000 tons of Russian oil transit is expected to go through Uzbekistan via the main pipeline of "KazTransOil".
It was previously estimated how much money Russia will pay to Kazakhstan for oil transit to Uzbekistan.

"KazTransOil" began transiting Russian oil to Uzbekistan in November 2017: in September 2017, the governments of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan signed a framework agreement on some issues of energy cooperation.
