The leader of the "Taliban" movement, Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada, issued a decree prohibiting officials from hiring their relatives for government positions, the Associated Press reports.
It was reported that Akhundzada ordered all officials to fire their sons and other relatives working in the administration.
"It is an order to all officials in the ministries, departments, and independent authorities that no one is allowed to appoint family members or relatives in government positions,” - says the Taliban leader.
Akhundzada's decree ordered Taliban officials to immediately fill vacant positions with persons who are not their sons, family members, or relatives.
Earlier in Afghanistan, a conflict arose between the finance minister and the leader of the "Taliban". Finance Minister Hidayatullah Badri openly criticized the actions of Akhundzada. He confirmed his words with his readiness to resign from the position.
