Chinese President Xi Jinping congratulated the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on Nowruz. Xi Jinping also stated that the president is planning a state visit to China in his letter.
"I am very pleased to congratulate you and the people of Uzbekistan from the bottom of my heart on behalf of the government and people of China, as well as myself, on the occasion of Nowruz, the national holiday of Uzbekistan," wrote Xi Jinping.
As a result of the negotiations held during Xi Jinping's state visit to Uzbekistan in September 2020, a joint statement was adopted to further develop the countries' strategic cooperation and serve the interests of the people, and cooperation between the countries' prospects for expanding relations have been determined.
"I pay great attention to the development of China-Uzbekistan relations. I look forward to your participation in the first "China-Central Asia" summit scheduled for May of this year and your state visit to China," said Xi Jinping's letter.
The leader of the People's Republic of China, together with the President of Uzbekistan, expressed confidence that discussing the prospects of China-Central Asia relations and the big plans of the two countries for bilateral cooperation will raise Uzbekistan-China cooperation to a higher level.
"Taking this opportunity, I wish Your Excellency good health and great success in your responsible activities. May the people of Uzbekistan always be blessed with happiness and prosperity!" Xi Jinping concluded.
