Uzbekistan’s capital Tashkent is set to host the 7th International Jazz Festival featuring USA, Europe, the Middle East, and Uzbekistan musicians. The event will commemorate International Jazz Day on April 30, declared in 2011 by UNESCO.
Reportedly, the event will be held in the capital from April 25 to May 13 and showcase the performances of American singer China Moses and the Swiss band Moonlight Gang, Gregory Porter, Igor Butman, and his orchestra, Til Brönner, El Di Meola, Take 6, De Phazz and other famous artists.
At the invitation of the embassies, performers from the USA, Great Britain, Hungary, Germany, Israel, Italy, Lebanon, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Romania, Ukraine, France, and Switzerland will present their countries at the festival. In addition, Uzbekistan will be represented by Jazzirama.
In addition to, concerts, master classes, and creative meetings will be held in Tashkent during the Jazz Festival.
