Saudi Arabia raised oil prices for Asia and Europe. In particular, the price of Arab Light oil, one of the main types, increased by 2.5 dollars per barrel from the regional indicator and by 50 cents from the indicator in March, Bloomberg reports.
Saudi Aramco raises prices for Asia for the second month in a row. Prices for consumers in Northwest Europe increased by $1 per barrel, and for the Mediterranean by $0.3. Prices for consumers in the USA remained unchanged.
Aramco sells about 60 percent of Asia's crude oil supply, mostly under long-term contracts. China, Japan, South Korea, and India are the largest oil importers of Saudi Arabia.
