For the first time, Uzbekistan is participating as the producer of light armoured vehicles (LAV) at the International Defense Exhibition & Conference (IDEX-2023) in Abu Dhabi.
From February 20 to February 24, the 16th IDEX - 2023 exhibition is being held at the ADNEC National Exhibition Center in Abu Dhabi (UAE), hosting 1350 leading companies from 65 countries.
Uzbekistan is presenting the AKSUM MAX S and AKSUM MAX DS by the military-industrial company "VPK AKSUM", based in the city of Chirchik, Tashkent region.
IDEX which is held in Abu Dhabi once every 2 years is one of the most representative international exhibitions of weapons and security technologies, held under the patronage of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahya, the President of the UAE, with the support of the government and the armed forces of the country. The main profiles of the IDEX exhibition: weapons, electronic means of protection, ballistic systems, radar installations, telecommunications, optical electronics, ammunition, military equipment, anti-mine systems, protection systems on the ground, in water and air, engineering installations, and special equipment.
