February 10-12. The "Uzbekistan Railways" JSC, "Sogdiana Trans" (Railways subsidiary) and the Afghan Railways Department signed a new trilateral agreement in Termiz. The press service of "Uzbekistan Railways" reports.
According to the fresh document, "Sogdiana Trans" will continue its operational activities on the Hayraton-Mazari Sharif railway for 2 years.
In addition, the parties jointly agreed to speed up the delivery of goods to the station "Mazari Sharif" paying special attention to the training of local Afghan specialists.
It is noted that 714 freight cars were delivered on February 10-11. To date, the shipment is underway.
