Among many measures set by the presidential decree to support Uzbek entrepreneurs exporting ready-made products is the compensation policy.
According to the decision "On additional measures to promote the production and export of furniture products", until January 1, 2024, business owners exporting finished furniture products will be reimbursed for a part of the costs of renting office, trade and warehouse buildings abroad (100 square meters to 250 square meters).
The government takes an obligation to cover 25% of the salary of foreign specialists (engineer-technologist, paint spraying master, designer) attracted by local enterprises with a share of income from the export of products in the annual income of at least 30%.
The zero rates of customs duty on the import of raw materials, spare parts, fittings and accessories used in the production of furniture to Uzbekistan has been extended until January 1, 2024.
