Latvia's capital Riga on February 3-5 showcased Uzbekistan's tourism potential as part of the 28th international tourism exhibition fair entitled BaltTour-2023.
Several tour operators from Uzbekistan took part in the exhibition with their stands, including Uzbekistan Airways. The airline announced its plans to increase the number of flights on the Tashkent-Riga-Tashkent rote, starting from March 28.
The event also discussed growing interest in Uzbekistan as a tourist destination for travelers from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and Finland.
The Balttour international travel trade fair is the key tourism event in the Baltics, which helps travelers to choose destinations and plan trips.
