Acting Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov on Thursday (January 19) received Ahmed Said Al Kithiri, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Uzbekistan, as he has completed his diplomatic mission in the republic.
The Acting Foreign Minister appreciated the Ambassador’s contribution to the progressive development of bilateral relations. In his turn, Ambassador that between 2019 and 2023, he witnessed large-scale reforms that contributed to the dynamic progress of the republic.
The meeting considered topical issues of Uzbek-Omani cooperation, the implementation of previously reached agreements, and the schedule of upcoming meetings at various levels.
The importance of effectively using the existing interaction potential in trade, economics, transport and communication, and cultural and humanitarian spheres was noted.
The Ambassador thanked the Uzbek side for the full support and favorable conditions for implementing his diplomatic activities in the republic.
