On 18 January 2023, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov received US Ambassador Jonathan Henick.
The two sides discussed the US-Uzbekistan strategic partnership in areas of mutual interest and drew particular attention to the prospects of activation of economic diplomacy, including in the Business-to-Government (B2G) format, the Foreign Ministry reports.
The schedule, organizational and substantive aspects of the scheduled events and visits at various levels were considered.
The Ambassador expressed the readiness of the American side to assist Uzbekistan in implementing the reform course, including through USAID.
