Azerbaijan Airlines will connect Urgench and Baku with direct flights. The first passenger flight is scheduled for January 28, 2023, media reports. Airbus A320 aircraft is to launch flights once a week on Saturdays.
Urgench became the fourth city in Uzbekistan to which the Azerbaijani air carrier began to fly. Flights from Baku to Tashkent are launched regularly twice a week - on Thursdays and Sundays. From Baku to Samarkand - on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from Baku to Fergana - on Thursdays.
