The newly formed Ministry of Natural Resources of Uzbekistan will spend about 28 billion soums from the state budget for the creation of construction waste landfills, and 50 billion soums for medical waste decontamination sites. Jamshid Ishchanov, the official of the Ministry of Natural Resources announced during the briefing.
According to the law that entered into force on January 1, 2023- In the period from January 1 to January 1, 2026, the profit tax and social tax rates for this type of activity were set at 1 per cent.
Based on the approved targeted programs for 2023-2025, it is planned to finance a total of 1.1 trillion soums for the establishment of a household waste reloading station, handling 29 household solid waste landfills, construction of 437 waste collection stations, the establishment of 26 construction waste landfills, purchase of 18,867 waste containers for social sector facilities the establishment of 60 medical waste decontamination sites.
