Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Jamshid Khodjaev held a conference on the republic’s accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO). The meeting informed that the WTO members received a complete list of necessary documents to create a working group. This group is in charge of resolving all remaining issues in the process of Uzbekistan's WTO accession.
The Central Asian republic intends to officially join the organization before the end of 2023. With this in mind, additional bilateral meetings with representatives of the organization are set to be held.
