An 11-year-old boy was severely electrocuted on a train roof on December 18 in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent, media reports. On that day, the boy was visiting relatives and was allowed for a walk. While near the railway tracks, the schoolboy climbed one of the train carriages. This resulted in a 27,000-volt electric shock impulse inherently incompatible with life.
The boy received first aid and an ambulance from nearby railway workers. The boy’s condition was estimated to be extremely severe, with burns of 80% of the total body area. His condition is now assessed as stable.
