The Saint Petersburg Stock Exchange (SPB) is preparing to list shares of Uzbek companies in its Moscow branch. This is reported by "Kommersant" with reference to Roman Goryunov, the head of the trading platform.
Stock exchange listing (stock quotation sheet) is a special stock exchange event to verify that the company meets the requirements of the stock exchange.
According to Goryunov, by the end of 2023, the trading platform wants to increase the number of Chinese stocks listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange from 79 to 500.
SPB Exchange plans to apply for the status of an exchange operator and an information system for the issuance and circulation of highly liquid exchange instruments in its infrastructure.
In 2022, 11 new participants were accredited on the trading floor, and 5 more new participants are expected to join in 2023.
In addition to the Uzbek securities, the SPB is planning to list the shares of India, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa and other developing countries.
