We are trying to create all the necessary conditions for everyone in our large and friendly family - Uzbekistan - to live in peace and prosperity’, the President said.
The head of state highlighted the importance of hard work on ensuring progress in any walk of life.
‘The experience we gained during this period once again proves one truth: only hard and selfless work can make progress’, said the President.
He added that, as a result of wide-ranging and effective reforms, the country’s gross domestic product exceeded $80bn for the first time. This year alone, Uzbekistan’s economy attracted $8bn of foreign direct investment, and exports reached $19bn.
