Over 80 trees were illegally cut down in the Kushkupir District of the Khorezm region, the press service of the regional Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection has reported.
According to official data, a total of 83 of various sizes trees were uprooted on the territory of the Rasulbek farm, including the jida trees and poplars. 3 trees were detected damaged. The relevant documents are being drawn up for legal action.
Earlier Daryo reported that the Surkhandarya regional department on ecology and environmental protection and the National Guard has reported illegal tree cutting in the territory of the Machai Forest Sector of Boysun District. In total, law enforcement bodies detected that 51 trees were cut in Uchdag, Zarang, and other areas.
