Tashkent City Council on Sunday (December 4) on its telegram channel explained the reason for the gas and heat outrage in the capital.
‘As a result of the sharp drop in the air temperature in some parts of Tashkent, there are gas and heat outages; even though utilities are trying to distribute the existing gas reserves evenly among all consumers, resources are running out. To provide gas and heat to as many homes as possible, fueling stations for all vehicles except public transport have been temporarily closed. The city is working 24-hour troubleshooting, and utilities are on high alert,' the message reads.
