On the sidelines of the 29th OSCE Ministerial Council meeting in Lodz, Poland, Uzbekistan’s Foreign MinisterVladimir Norov met with the OSCE PA Chairperson Margarita Cederfelt to discuss measures aimed at expanding cooperation between the chambers of Uzbekistan’s parliament and the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
Uzbekistan’s FM Vladimir Norov informed Margarita Cederfelt about the democratic reforms covering all sectors of the republic. One of the key goals of the New Uzbekistan development strategy is to increase the role of Oliy Majlis chambers and political parties in the consistent continuation of the reforms implemented in the country.
The two sides exchanged views on the upcoming autumn session of the OSCE PA in Uzbekistan in 2023, Dunyo reports.
