South Korean teachers voluntarily have opted for teaching the secrets of the profession to young people in vocational centres in Uzbekistan. This was reported to "Daryo" by the head of the information service of the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations, Mavluta Mirzayeva.
According to the information service of the Ministry, an agreement was reached during the visit of Minister Nazim Husanov and the leadership of the Korea International Cooperation "Agency in Seoul. According to the agreement, KOICA projects in Uzbekistan will be developed on the basis of cooperation. An agreement was reached on the issues of attracting volunteer teachers from Korea to vocational training institutions in our country and establishing knowledge assessment centers, "Mavluda Mirzayeva says.
The head of the ministry added that the Ministry of Employme
nt and Labor Relations and the South Korean International Cooperation Agency have been cooperating since 2012.
At the moment, in four KOICA vocational training centers in our republic, high-demand professions such as electronics, information technologies, automotive engineering, tailoring, hairdressing and cosmetology are taught. By attracting Korean teachers to these centres, it is aimed to train our young people to become stronger specialists and teach them foreign experience, - says Mavluta Mirzayeva.
Also, during his visit to South Korea, the minister held talks with Lee Sang-kyun, president of the Hyundai Heavy Industries shipbuilding company in Ulsan.
At the meeting, the issues of additional employment of Uzbek citizens in this company, expansion of cooperation in the field of labor migration were discussed.
"Hyundai Heavy Industries was founded in Ulsan in March 1972 and is the world's largest shipbuilding company. In 2014, the world's largest container ship MV SSSL Globe was built by this company. At the moment, about 27,000 employees are working at Hyundai Heavy Industries, and about 200 of them are citizens of Uzbekistan," the official of the ministry said.
