On December 1, Uzbek Foreign Minister Vladimir Norov, met the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Commonwealth and Development of Great Britain James Cleverley on the sidelines of the 29th OSCE Ministerial Council held in Łódź, Poland. This was reported by the information service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The diplomats exchanged views on the activation of inter-parliamentary dialogue and the organization of mutual visits of representatives of the legislative bodies of the two countries. The UK side expressed its support for the expansion of relations between scientific and educational institutions, museums and libraries, and the implementation of joint projects.
Norov invited his British colleague to visit Uzbekistan which would assist in further bilateral collaboration.
