This complex consists of three parts dedicated to the Battle of Goktepa in 1880-1881, World War II, and the Ashgabat earthquake of 1948. Behind the central monument, there is also a museum that tells about these terrible events.

The head of state paid tribute to the memory of the deceased and laid flowers at the base of the monument. After getting acquainted with the museum exhibits, he signed the book of honored guests.
