Uzbek and Turkmen Presidents sign strategic partnership declaration

Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the declaration on deepening strategic partnership.

According to the President’s press service, the documents are aimed at expanding multifaceted Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan cooperation at the level of governments, ministries and agencies of the two countries, including:

• Practical Action Plan for 2022-2024 on activation of political dialogue, inter-parliamentary, trade-economic cooperation, and cultural-humanitarian exchange between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan;
• Agreement on the further development of bilateral foreign economic relations;
• Agreement on regulating the activities of trading houses in the territories of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan;
• Agreement on scientific and technical cooperation;
• Plan of practical measures for further expansion of cooperation in the field of agriculture;
• An agreement on the registration of medicines and medical supplies was signed.
