"Dunyo" news agency reports that the Embassy of Uzbekistan is carrying out systematic work on establishing a dialogue with citizens working temporarily in Israel.
It is noted that more than 9,000 citizens of Uzbekistan are currently working temporarily in Israel. Most of them are engaged in the care of the disabled and the elderly.
The diplomatic mission is holding travelling meetings every month in cities and districts where Uzbeks live. At the events, citizens are informed about the reforms related to the amendments to the constitution.
In July of this year, the governments of the two countries signed an agreement on temporary employment of workers from Uzbekistan in special sectors of the Israeli labor market. This document laid the foundation for the system of organized employment of Uzbeks.
