The head of the Presidential Administration, Sardor Umrzakov, held a meeting with the regional khokims, heads of industries and sectors.
The meeting considered the lagging tasks set by the President for the agro-industrial complex, the issues of further increasing the responsibility of the officials, and the unconditional provision of executive discipline, which was said to be held in a very critical spirit.
Umurzakov warned khokims and other local officials not to interfere in the work of clusters and not to exert administrative pressure urging them to focus on preventing forced labour, reducing poverty, improving living conditions and infrastructure in neighbourhoods, supporting entrepreneurship, especially small and family businesses.
