In January-July 2022, Uzbekistan imported 257.2 tons of coffee products worth 1.8 million dollars from abroad, the State Statistics Committee reports.
Compared to the corresponding period of 2021, the import of coffee products soared by 61 tons and hit 800 thousand dollars more.
Uzbekistan buys the most coffee from Italy - 63.6 tons in seven months followed by Brazil (45 tons), and Russia (31.8 tons) in third place.
In the same period of 2021, Russia championed in exporting coffee to Uzbekistan with - 57.4 tons.
