The Veon, the global digital operator, has informed that travellers on the ‘Afrosiyob’ high-speed train on the Tashkent-Samarkand route can now easily use high-speed Internet via the Beeline communication provider.
Minister of Information Technology and Communications Development Sherzod Shermatov met with Kaan Terzioglu, CEO of Veon Group of Companies (Beeline Uzbekistan).
The parties noted that wide opportunities can help for the further development of the quality of telecommunications services in the country, attracting more investment in the field of IT.
The meeting participants were presented with the possibility of using high-speed Internet on the high-speed train on the Tashkent-Samarkand route within the framework of the implementation of the "Digital Uzbekistan-2030."
The Veon representatives informed the audience that travellers on the high-speed train on the Tashkent-Samarkand route can now easily use high-speed Internet via Beeline.
