Tashkent public transport's loss reaches almost 60 billion soums

"Toshshahartranskhizmat" company ended the first half of 2022 with a loss. Daryo found out from the financial report of the company.
In the first six months, the company's income was 88.3 billion soums, but the expenditures were 239.6 billion soums, and the loss from the sale of services was 151 billion soums.
As a result, the company suffered a loss of 59.2 billion soums. Compared to the same period last year when it was much less - 468.3 million soums.
In 2019, the government made a decision on the financial rehabilitation of Tashkent passenger transport services to cover the loss of 38 billion soums of "Toshshahartranskhizmat" from the state budget.
