Schools, hospitals, and other social facilities in Uzbekistan will be fully supplied with local coal until September 15, the Ministry of Energy reports.
On July 29, the joint-stock company "Uzbekkomir" organized a press tour for the media to provide information on solid fuel production, sorting and loading processes, and quality work.
The National coal company has slated to supply 518,000 tons of local coal products to social sector facilities and 882,000 tons for the population for the autumn-winter season of 2022/2023.
According to the company, the coal loading to social infrastructure much earlier than usual this year - on April 1, delivering an average of 3,000 tons of coal per day.
As of July 27, 2022, 326,300 tons of domestic coal were supplied to public organizations. Coal distribution works are especially well organized in Samarkand and Khorezm regions, - said the first deputy general director A. Mirakhmedov.
It is planned to complete the work of fully supplying republican budget organizations with coal for the autumn-winter season by September 15 and to complete the supply of local coal to the population by December 31.
