Video footage showing illegal demonstrations of citizens in the city of Nukus, Karakalpakstan, has gone viral on social networks before the Ministry of Internal Affairs' reaction to the situation.
On July 1, from approximately 3:00 p.m., some people in Nukus organized unexpected street marches, misinterpreting the constitutional reforms being implemented. They gathered at the Central Dekhkan Market of Nukus and organized demonstrations.
"In order to prevent any kind of public disorder and various violations, the special forces and law enforcement agencies have been brought to the market's premises.
Currently, public order is being restored, and all their appeals will be considered in the established order," the report said.
