According to an Uzbek-born, Russian tycoon, Uzbekistan currently offers the best business opportunities to enter the market and encourages foreign investors to do the same.
Usmanov also talks about the Western sanctions and his connections with the Russian elite, during the interview with Forbes.
“They do create obstacles – including for my activities in Uzbekistan, where I have been spending most of my time in the last few years,” he says.
The businessman also noted that companies in which he is a shareholder are investing in metallurgy, cement production and telecommunications in Uzbekistan.
