Kyrgyzstan's state-owned Asman Airlines is set to provide regular flights to all 11 domestic airports by the end of 2025. The expansion coincides with the airline's fleet growth to four Dash 8-400 turboprop aircraft, as revealed during the recent opening of Karakol Airport.
Asman Airlines began operations on September 27 and currently flies from Bishkek to Jalal-Abad, Batken, Razzakov, Talas, and Osh using two De Havilland Dash 8-400 aircraft. These planes, seating 80 passengers each, form the backbone of its domestic services.
The airline will take delivery of two additional aircraft in 2025, with the third arriving in May and the fourth by the end of the year. The expanded fleet will support new routes, including Bishkek to Kazarman, Naryn, and Kerben, as well as Osh to Karakol and Talas.
Once fully operational, Asman Airlines will handle all domestic air travel in Kyrgyzstan, aiming to provide more affordable ticket prices than private operators.
Asman Airlines is fully owned by Manas International Airport (MIA), the state-run entity managing Kyrgyzstan’s five international and six regional airports. The airline’s expansion is part of a broader initiative to improve domestic connectivity and support regional development.
